Coulson Operations Expands Kool Beanz Portfolio with Two New Centres

Coulson Operations is proud to announce the opening of two new early learning centres for Kool Beanz, and the launch of a new sub-brand: Kool Beanz BULLDOGS. The new centres include Kool Beanz Goldsmith Street in Mackay, Queensland, and Kool Beanz BULLDOGS Footscray in Victoria – Kool Beanz’ first centre in the southern state, delivered in partnership with the Western Bulldogs AFL club. Kool Beanz Goldsmith Street – Mackay’s Newest Childcare & Kindergarten Centre 

Located just across the road from Victoria Park State School, Kool Beanz Goldsmith Street is a purpose-built, two-level, 102-place childcare and kindergarten centre designed for children aged six weeks to six years. The centre features three outdoor play areas, a library, and dedicated STEM and art rooms, providing diverse learning environments where children can explore, discover, and grow. 

From the moment families enter the bright and welcoming reception area, they are met with a calm, open and inviting environment. The centre’s design supports both child and family engagement, creating spaces where Little Beanz can develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning.

Kool Beanz BULLDOGS Footscray – First Kool Beanz Centre in Victoria 

The Kool Beanz BULLDOGS brand, launched as a new sub-brand under Kool Beanz in partnership with the AFL Western Bulldogs, follows the successful model of Kool Beanz SUNS with the AFL Gold Coast SUNS. 

Kool Beanz BULLDOGS Footscray is the first Kool Beanz childcare and kindergarten centre in Victoria, situated on the rooftop of the new Footscray Hospital precinct, providing care for up to 90 children aged six weeks to six years. The centre offers a vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring environment, featuring five learning rooms alongside dedicated spaces including an art studio, library, Lego room, and STEM room. 

A standout feature is the expansive rooftop outdoor environment, which includes a mini-AFL football field, water creek play, Zen garden, vegetable patch, climbing and swing areas, and a bird aviary, supporting both physical and sensory learning experiences. 

Through this partnership, Kool Beanz BULLDOGS Footscray delivers a unique play-based program that nurtures confidence, resilience, and a love of learning, while connecting children to their local community and the wider precinct.
