Kool Beanz Bridge Road: New Addition to Kool Beanz

Coulson Operations is proud to announce the official opening of Kool Beanz Bridge Road, the newest addition to the growing Kool Beanz family in Mackay, Queensland. Opening Monday, 10th November from 6:30 am, this purpose-built childcare centre has been thoughtfully designed to deliver exceptional early learning experiences for local families.

Strategically located in the heart of West Mackay, just moments away from Mackay Base Hospital, Kool Beanz Bridge Road offers 52 places for children aged six weeks to five years. As our first boutique centre in Queensland, it combines home-like warmth with the innovation of purpose-built learning environments that go beyond what traditional childcare offers, creating a space where children feel safe, inspired and ready to explore. 

Every corner of the centre has been created with children in mind. Inside, children can immerse themselves learning zones thoughtfully designed to exceed the typical childcare experience, including dedicated STEM and arts areas, a cozy library, and classrooms filled with natural light, fostering an environment that is engaging, inspiring, and nurturing. Outdoors, the nature-inspired playground offers more than a standard play area it features a bird aviary, a tranquil Zen garden, and shaded discovery spaces, providing opportunities for exploration, imaginative play, and meaningful connection with nature, while supporting social, emotional, and cognitive development.

This opening is part of Coulson Operations’ broader expansion strategy in Mackay, with two additional Kool Beanz centres planned for Goldsmith Street and Glenella.
